'85 base model decals/emblems
I was thinking about getting the bird decal for the c-pillar and the front bumper, but I'm not sure if it would look goofy without body gfx. Were there any decals or body emblems for the '85 base model firebirds?

Yes, the car would have been originally equipped with a bird emblem on each sail panel, and one on the front bumper. There would have also been a "FIREBIRD" badge on each fender.

Yay, cool. I might pick some up off ebay and see how they look.
You wouldn't happen to know what colors were most commonly used would you? My car is like an autumn gold, so I was thinking maybe a black bird?
I also can't find anywhere to get the "Firebird" badges.

You are right, black would likely go with gold.
As far as the emblems I would try classic industy's or yearone, although I am not sure if they are being reproduced. Otherwise just pick up a used set.
Just search around and you should be able to see the stock locations.
