Not sure what I bought, but it's my new project

1984 Trans am. 100k miles, black on black, T-tops, 350 crate motor(carb), cowl induction, T-5 trans, rear disc brake, 3.73 rear, no AC, no power acc, no cruise, no tilt, but has rear defrost and elec hatch pop.
No RPO codes, as the console has been replaced. haven't found a build sheet yet. interior isn't too bad (black/grey) but cowl tag suggests it was originally a tan interior, so I assume it's been replaced.
Got it for $700

Sounds like you might entertain the idea of giving the VIN to Pontiac Historical Services and get a packet from them for like 40 dollars. phsonline I think is the website-run by Jim Mattison? You'd have to fax them a copy of the title as well, but you get everything you could possibly want about the bird. Give em a look! And congrats!

Looks to me like the taillights got swapped too as those are the firebird taillights. But looks good for the price you paid.

Hope they gave you good proof that it is a 350 Crate motor.

Yeah, I got a copy of the receipt. That is why I paid as much as I did. The T-5 is stuck in 4th gear, and that would have lowered the value to me, if not for the crate 350.
