And no doubt that a photochop either. Wheel style doesn't look bad, but your car couldn't get close to looking like that without Air Ride & aftermarket 20"+ versions of those wheels.

 

Stiff springs, weight jacks and the standard 18x9.5's would get you real close though.

All Vette weels can fit. It is just a matter of what size adapters you will need, if the wheels are 16" wheels or larger.

relax, i just joined this site today. im pretty new to the firebird game as well. i have an 87' trans am im restoring and i came across this site. theres a lot of useful info on here. im in the process of a paint job and interior work. id like to throw some vett wheels on it and i have no idea where to start. that is y i ask. where can i get these adapters/spacers and how much are they?

Yes. You have to search my friend. The same rule goes with any forum you join. The newer you are to the forum and to the hobby the more likely it is that your question is very common and has been answered multiple times. If everyone answered your question you would be more likely to ask again next time without searching. So before telling people to relax proper forum etiquette should be followed. Really nice ride, i will like to know how you made the wheels fit that bird. I have a set of black w/polished lip from a 1987 vette and want to put them on my 91 firebird but i think i will need some kind of adapter and i do not know much about that. They are 17x9.5 offset +38mm and hub 70.68mm, can you help me with this?, thanks.

this is a picture of my car about 10 years ago, on the day I moved from NY to VA. Goodbye 20 degrees and 6" of snow and hello 60* and sunny in December.

 

What's the difference between these 2? The tops are 18's all around and the bottom is a 17/18 combo right?

No problem, if you decide on them, they'll space out just like any other vette wheel. 2" adapters all the way around.

These are z06 deep dish replicas from OeWheels. Personally, I think they look better than the GM z06 wheels.

 

Ive never liked TA's as much as Formulas b/c Im not a ground effects fan, but that was a sweet TA. Too bad. Anyway, yeah, I plan to get Vette wheels for my 92 Formula sometime this summer hopefully. I just bought it and had to dump about a grand into it to get it mechanically sound, and it will need a new headliner this spring if I want to take the tops out without looking like a chump. But God willing, I plan to go with this 18 X 9.5 C6 set I found on OEWheelsllc.com. I've never found a site with better prices, and the wheels are good quality. I'll need 2" spacers, but it should look great. I'll post pics if I can get it done. Let me know what you think if you feel like it. I think the black would look sweet with the red car.

OEWheels is awesome. I ordered a 17 X 9.5 set for my 98 Camaro, and a staggered set of 20 X 8.5/10's for my 07 Mustang and have had nothing but good to say about them. They look great and the price has not been beat. Now that Ive seen yours on a car similar to mine, I may take a second look to see if those may not look better than the black ones I planned to get. Looks great. Those 17's or 18's?
