Starting a new project.. 1991 Firebird
Hey guys, I'm starting a project, picking up a 91 Firebird, T-tops, not a spot of rust, was in an accident, but repaired by a well known shop here in Windsor, and the owner was a licenced GM mechanic at a dealership. It's a sunset red metallic in colour and comes with a trunk full of parts, 1985 Stock louvers, shorty headers, and tons of others, I'll post pics in the morning, but from what I had seen, it was clean..
It's the same colour as Gothreecar's 91 GTA in the 91 Firebird pictures part of the website.

looks like a good starting point, I find it hard to believe it has no rust, did you check the floors?

Haha, the original owner put them on.. I honestly went underneath with my big 3 Watt LED Mag Light and checked it out, not a single spot. The 1/4's are solid, under the t-tops looks new, and the door jambs are just as nice.

nice, sounds like it was well taken care of.
and I personally would rather buy a car like that one thats all original and mostly untouched as opposed to a car that was freshly painted and looks good, but then its scary to think what could be hiding under that fresh paint.

That's a good base to start with. Mine was in pretty much the same condition almost two years ago. All it takes is time and $.
What are your plans for it?

I think the previous hatch was busted, I've had to clean out so much broken glass it's not even funny... I'll leave it on too, it kinda looks good on the car.
Just gotta figure out how to hook it up.

I finally got on my new 30mm sway bar from a local junkyard, and a KYB shock, to match the other side. Here's some pics.. I've also started POR15ing the rusty parts

That rear end needs alot of work... But POR15 can fix anything, it's left me with some nice tattoos.
