Re: my 82 trans am

The pic's shown are of my std port 23 deg headed 406 ci sbc (668hp) The nitrous system was just for looks. It was never used but the car ran 10.00 @ 134 with this set up. The car is 3780 pounds with driver running stock type bolt on suspension parts on a 9 inch slick 1.36 60 ft times . I had to sell that engine last year when someone offered me more money then I could turn down for it . I started over and built a 434ci sbc i'll post some pic's and the build info

very cool car with some serious money under the hood...woulc be cooler if you were running a small cowl hood and could make the car have a bit more sleeper feel...just me...

Re: my 82 trans am

Well guys I'm back to working on the car again after a long layoff due to health issues . Ive got the engine almost ready . It's all freshened up with new valve springs and a different cam. I did a lot more work to the intake and heads . All I have to do is put the intake and rockers on and the engine is complete . I ordered a Spohn torque arm and trans crossmember today . I'm not going to dyno the engine this time it's just going straight into the car . thou I'm still having health problems that will keep me from ever running my car faster then 10.00. I.m just happy to get back out ...
