My 83 camaro came with one on butchered on it when I got it. I cant stand it, too tall, and does not go at all with the car. I know it would look worse on a firebird. Just my opinion.

I'm kind of curios about cowl hoods myself. I've seen a few at the drag strip, always thought they looked kinda cool. Right now I have a mustang hood scoop on my car, but I think a cowl would look kinda neat.
+1 on some pictures. In the camaro section, theres a thread "hoods hoods hoods" that has a picture of a firebird with a 4" cowl. Looks decent.
