My $500 project, '90 t/a

Car is a 1990 Trans Am, ws6 package, lb9 factory 5 speed car, 3.08 posi drum rear, ttops, power windows and mirrors.

Picked this rare find up off some dude who had gotten it as a project a year ago, he could never get it to run right though. I figured for $500 I would atleast give it a shot given how rare a 5 speed tpi car seems to be to come by, an even more uncommon 1990 car none the less.

First weekend home with it I start out on the basics, check engine light, loose connections, etc and I take a shot in the dark and double check the firing order. I had to double check it as it seemed too simple what I had found, sure enough, cylinders 3 and 5 were mixed up. Switched them back, took the car out and it runs very strong.

Needs a repaint very bad (its worse than pics make it seem) and the interior is semi rough and missing pieces. Overall its exactly what I wanted, a 5 speed project.

Rust free. Colorado is very good to cars as far as that goes, no road salt and low precip, snow doesnt even stick around for more than a day or two in the metro area.

It definitely needs some work but it's a steal for $500. Good luck with it!!!
