Picked up a 15th TA
Picked up a 15th TA
I've been a member here for awhile I just haven't been very active...that'll all change with this recent purchase. I just picked up a 15th Anniversary Trans Am and as you'll be able to tell from the pics it's in need of quite a bit of work.
The car is complete and solid....but the interior is trashed, the body has a few dings & scratches, and the engine & tranny are not correct to the car. My thoughts are to restore it cosmetically back to original, I'll be trying to find all the right materials & trim pieces to restore the interior (I know this will be a very hard task), and then I may be doing an LS1 swap to the drivetrain.....I have several other Firebirds, which are all stock so this will be the car I play with alittle.
Here are some pics from the day I picked it up..............

nice looking car, should make a great project.
your seats aside from the grey Trans Am insert peices in the front look good, i envy you mine are completely trashed.

Keep the blue and white theme, minus the wheels. Maybe different style white wheels? Looks like a cool project. Good luck.
