Hey there all, I'm brand new to this place and was posting to say gunna pick up my first third gen. Its an 1982 Trans Am. but its a project car for the most part. $300 for it..any opinions on it? oh and the guy sellign it to me is my firend and he said he would help me fix it back up, though i dont know much about cars yet.

Sofar..the thigns i know i need to do

Replace the windshield
Drop the tranny and fix second gear, its off by a hair i guess
He said the speedometer cable is lettign a little tranny fluid leak, but sylicon shoudl fix that he said
needs new tires
new battery
and theres a little bit of rust on it
oh ans new shocks
with a couple other wiring stuff

 

It definitely needs some work but it looks like a good project. Good luck with it!!!
