dirty coolent tank

had to get a "new" coolent tank for my T/A cause the old one had a crack. and by "new" i mean from a junk yard. it's in great shape! just very dirty. i've tried numerous things. soaking down with steaming hot water through a sprayer, with dish soap and shook it up. rinsed it out with a hose outside using the "jet" feature on my sprayer. soaking with a citrus based cleaner and very hot water, like 5 times. i've even used brake cleaner. it's those nooks and crannies that i can't quite get with a good stream of water pressure.

i wouldn't be so concerned about it if there still weren't flakes of that crap floating around in there when i fill it up with water. and i don't want that crap going through the cooling system and clogging **** up.

sooo...any suggestions? puh puh please?
