Hi All,
I am new here to thirdgen. I have been looking for a good 2nd gen canadidate for resto for a long time. I restore 2nd gen T/A's and this is my first 3rd gen, and it is for me not someone else.

I just picked up a 1989 Trans Am GTA WS6 with the 5.7L TPI motor. It has an auto trans and T's. I love it.. The dash is mint. I picked up a decient center console. I do need a new console cover, mine is not good. I am gonna clone a '78 special edition. Gonna paint it black and hook it up with SE graphix. Gonna do the interior in tan and black.

I started cleaning up the engine compartment. I cleaned up the core support and other metals and painted them black. I will eventually pull the motor and finish the rest of the engine compartment. I am gonna keep it injected instead of going with a carb.

I started replacing steering parts. I put all new tie rods, center links and drag link. I got the ball joints but still need to install.

I am looking for some parts and suggestions. My interior parts are in ok condition. It is the tan interior, but I dont know what the name of the color is. I need to get new carpet and headliner. I also need a new steering wheel with radio controls. The controls are in ok condition but the wheel is shot. It is the leather wrapped wheel in black. I picked up an aftermarket spoiler, it is fiberglass. It fits but the original clips on the hatch dont work with it. It has one c clip on each side, that is all that is holding it on. Any suggestions for this?

I found a vacuum leak off the intake. There is a hose missing and not sure where it goes. Does anyone have a vacuum diagram for this engine? Or can anyone tell me where it goes. I posted a pic showing the port. It is the first pic.
