New Toy
Hey all, I have been a lurker on this forum for quite awhile and never have posted any pics of my Firebirds. I bought my first Third Gen about 8 years ago and played with it some, but just never got into it too much.
It was a 1983 Firebird SE with a 350 swap and a TH350. I replaced the suspension bushings, rebuilt the TH350, and painted the car back to original color. Don't be too critical of my photo skills please.

I found my current car on Craigslist. It is a 1983 Trans Am that I am the third owner of. I have all paperwork for the car including the original window sticker. The GM dealer installed a 350 in the car in 1995, and it seems to have very low miles on it.
So, I sold my SE and put all the money from the proceeds, plus some, into the suspension and brakes on the Trans AM. I spent $2300 on the car, and about $2100 on the new suspension and brakes. It drives like it is a new car now.
Next year I will paint it, and put new tires and wheels on it. The following year I will do something with the drivetrain and power plant. Interior is in good shape for now. I might do some fun stuff with is later.

Those are a few pics of the new Trans Am. Enjoy.
