Thanks man!
You should come out to Veteran's Park on Wednesday night sometime. There's a good group of us that get together there at 9pm every week just to shoot the breeze for a while.

Re: My 3rd Third Gen, '88 GTA L98
Didn't get any work done on the GTA this weekend, I ended up picking up a new toy instead. My '90 GMC Suburban got sideswiped back in August, and I've been looking for something to replace it with for a while. I found it this weekend.
1986 Chevrolet C20 Suburban
454/TH400/14 bolt floating axle rear
Factory HD Towing Package
69k original miles
completely original, all receipts maintained since purchase
It was filthy dirty when I bought it, but a day's worth of cleaning and I ended up with a surprisingly clean and original truck. I bought it for $1500 and drove it back without a problem. Got 13.7 mpg at 70mph all the way back to College Station. That's not too bad for a 454 from what I hear. Anybody ever messed with one of these engines in a truck before? I know a bunch about small blocks, but I'm interested to see what can be done with this big block.

Hopefully I'll be back to the GTA soon. I've got a random vibration from 25-45 mph that I have to track down soon. I've got a carb to rebuild and some other odds and ends to do first though, not to mention a new truck to start messing with, haha.
