Okay peoples, just recently took part in a cool thread that someone did, listing movie appearances of third gen camaros!! It was really cool and thought that it maybe fun to have a simliar brain buster for the movies starring our BIRDS!! So humor me on this one if you will for a moment, put those thinking caps on and List the movies, that you've seen Firebirds and Trans Ams make an appearance in.. 1996 movie Fear with mark wahlberg and reese witherspoon there's a scene with a firebird in it. Of coarse theres the one being crushed in gone in 60 seconds, which nobody particular likes.

1980's? movie. I watched it on an 80's marathon with the kids this weekend. Had a scene early on with an 1988 or so trans am. It was silver with gray at bottom with black gta wheels. It had t tops out and actor cut off the lead character sliding the car in a 180 in front of a van, very early in movie. Sad to say that was the best scene

The italian job...At the end with the mini cooper and helicopter chase...Mark Walberg sneaks past the helicopter and drives right over the top of a 3rd gen firebird.

Couldnt agree with you more! The transam is the star of that movie! Its in almost every scene! Cheesy as hell but fun to watch if you want to checkout the transam for 90 minutes!

LMAO i know what your talking about, its kinda catchy, but its 80s. But on the other hand its cool for once watching our cars in these movies when they were brand new at there full glory taking the spot light. Other than knight rider of coarse, i like seeing more stock third gens then a mocked up computer car.

I was bored the other day and watched Book of Eli, with Denzel Washington. There is a scene where he is walking down the interstate and there are all kinds of nuked cars infront of him. The first car on his left hand side is Third Gen Camaro TTop. I know our cars are awesome, but I guess they won't survive a nuclear bomb! LOL

 

There was a blue '89-ish Trans Am in the tv series Hunter. Don't know if it was in every episode or only one....

That's because you have to slather them in Twinkies. Twinkies never die, and are impervious to all things. Cover your third gen in Twinkies and it will survive a nuclear bomb.

Hey I got one for you guys... I'm watching this movie called Kalifornia (1993) starring David Duchovny and Brad Pitt. At about 39 minutes into the directors cut, what looks to be a Formula appears on the screen, have a look...

 

In the TV show Dexter there's a black Trans Am GTA that keeps showing up in random places for no reason, throughout different seasons you can catch a glimpse of it drive by or parked in a random parking lot. I'm very intrigued by it

 

In the very beginning of the movie Hackers, the father is washing a Red GTA

 

What about the 80's cartoon "Turbo Teen" he tunred into his car when he got mad or upset and it sure looks alot like a 3rd gen Bird.





There was a mid 80's Firebird for a sec in Plane's Trains and Automobiles. I like 80's movies and I see alot of 3rd gens in them.

 

There's a new GE commercial talking about innovations and talking cars that show a K.I.T.T. car throughout the commercial. At the end it's "racing" a train.

 

Here is a pic of just his car and one with the truck that hit it. It for sure was a TTA.
