tilt hood/floating hood done on my 88

Ahhhh... Must be huge flake! I say Glitter and lol a little, but actually have seen some "show car" vette owners spray glitter all over the exterior of their car and the ground where being shown

I've wanted to do that to my t/a but was thinking of just fliping the hinges around for more of a vett style look

no because 2 pins hold it like that in middle of air once i release them hood goes back down normal

Several people here on TGO have done that by using the 90s Buick hood hinges that open in reverse like the Vette hoods do..

That just seems like an odd way of doing it and that paint just looks odd (both the glittery stuff and flame stuff in the engine compartment).

well the car is filthy you can check out my other post and see good pics of the car and the glittery stuff u called it its called metal flake and wats so odd about the airbrush?

I know its metal flake, not glitter. Large flake just seems odd to me on most things. Airbrushing just comes off as VERY tacky imo, especially when it comes to flames (and anything skull related). Combining the two just doesnt look right and clashes pretty bad. Thats just my opinion of course and all that matters is that you like the car.

thats awesome i have a 1989 firebird 2.8 v6 special adition just replaced the whole fuel system and come to find out the problem was the pick up coil...im new to firebirds but i like the way u did yours thats just too kool
