need to know.
hi guys to start off i got my 1987 firebird 4 months or so ago. never had a problem and when we got it they let us know it had a rebuilt engine with only 10000 miles on it but one night me and my girl driving home and the car breaks down. almost a month later its still sitting there cuz nobody can figure out whats wrong and it wont start to get it to a mechanic. the whole thing is that it cranks but wont fire i the engines getting fuel and it has spark but it seems like a weak spark and its got a brand new distributor cap and rotor and a new alternator i just put in today. someone let me know that it could be the maf sensor so i need to know is there a way to tell if its bad by looking at it.? im trying my hardest to figure oyt whats wrong Im 18 aing ive leaned about cars i taught myself

Re: need to know.
Another thing to look it is the distributor pick up and/or the ignition control module. Another thought is the distributor coil. These are all related to spark.
