Re: 1987 firebird help

Welcome to Third Gen. You can find everything you need to help repair all the issues on your new ride and the advice to do it on this forum.

First of all, please help us help you by using punctuation on your posts so they don't require being read numerous times to understand what you are saying. I'm not trying to be picky but members will take a look at your one long sentence post and not bother trying to decipher or reply to it.

The first thing that you may want to do is to replace your worn hood lift supports. (http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...d=lift+support

Then you can start doing searches for the other things you need to do on the car like trouble shooting and rebuilding your headlight motors and trunk pull down.

You'll also be able to find repair and replacement parts.

It sounds like you've got a good starting point at a good price, so "Good luck" with your new ride.
