Does anyone know if a manual c4 Corvette shift **** would fit a firebird 5 speed shifter?

Always loved how the 91-92 firehawk shifter looked. So I figured I might try a c4 one if it fits.

 

Man have my questions been that hard latley?

im not positive on any of this but i believe it would take some modification. third gens are threaded on, c4s are held in place with a metal wedge. could you make it work? yea, sure. but it wont be a direct fit. have you thought about the slp shifters from the 4th gen camaro ss? i see them on ebay all the time and they thread right on. just a thought

 

You can always just swap in a ZF6spd. That way you have more than the look.

 

Won't fit, but you can tap threads very easily to make it work. I have a C6 Z06 Carbon **** going in mine.

Yea I've seen the slp one there nice but really like vette/firehawk *****.

As for tap threading I might just go that route. Gonna order one tonight and see how it goes.
