Took it to a local paint shop. Funny story to. By accident they painted it a burgundy color. Someone had switch the tops of the paint cans and mine was to be factory red, Lol!!! So now I got 2 coats of urethane paint on it. Talk about a thick paint job. Anyway. I have the factory Formula 350 decals for the doors, hood and the birds. Gonna let the paint cure a little before I do that. This car has all matching numbers to.

looks like the Aerowing is kinda jacked up. and whats with the base model "firebird" emblem?

 

 

Yeah..its not mounted. I had it painted separate so when I get a new spoiler the paint lines from the old one wont show up. Plus, it was easier for them to paint the rear hatch. I have to paint the trim around the rear glass so I didnt want to mount the spoiler just yet. As for the emblem, the original owner put it on. I want to take it off to keep it as it was from the factory. I dont like it at all. I forgot to take it off before being painted. Im not sure how its attatched. Maybe glued on. Should be easy to take off.
