Great autographs Tony! I'm sure they enjoyed seeing what you are doing with the car. It was fun watching people check out your ride, and their disbelief at the treasue trove of super rare parts.

Yes, I saw the extra cooling grooves in the tread. Probably a good choice. It's a lot of fun...hopefully you can include the cruise next year.

So little respect for third gens! I have to say not much love for the Corporate engined cars. I liked the 3 1969 Trans ams one was a vert wonder if all real

Re: "it" has begun....
Anyone know if this decal is repopped anyplace? I've looked a little bit and haven't seen anything. Don't have any good samples of it here to get scanned either.
Is there a date code on them or not? Have an LU an PD code decal so far

Re: "it" has begun....
I have quite a few decals that remain, but don't recall that one. Will look later today. Power washed my engine too much back in the day, before stuff like this became a thought. Most of my paper tags are long gone.
How do you go about duplicating it if you only provide a photo? Do they also need dimensions?

I'd think having dimensions would help out.

I noticed a shot in the video you posted of your car where the camera accidently caught it from behind. The stance/wider tires was a great shot.

Yeah I know, I'm a bit disappointed in my 16yr old self too. A few things are preventing that kind of hijinks right now.
My phone sucks, the tires are from 1994 and I really need to get it tuned because it runs like poopy. It runs, just not the way it should but she will soon.

Re: "it" has begun....
A few more random pictures and for those that have asked about the EGR tube, I did take some! Didn't remember doing that but found them going through the pictures.
Natural metal finishes cleared with a flat clearcoat after a de-rusting.
Original headbolts used. plug wire bracket bolts are GM correct but firehawks Ive seen used hardware store type bolts
Fitting the EGR tube. Mine is a bit different in size than SLP used but idea is the same.
Drilling a NOS slp tri-y hurt a bit.
I've seen several different types of bolts used in these adapters. A gasket was used on final install.
Not perfect but most will be covered

NOS cats and SLP Tri-Y y pipe.
Original low mile formula wheels and tires plus low mile firehawk tires
Cool shot in the trailer heading to Norwalk OH for Aug 2019 show. The tape is locating small dents and places that need work on the aluminum hood

Distributor adapter harness.
A lot of this got cleaned up better as it was going together
SLP sprayed black or gray paint over the worked areas. I know It looks sloppy but I'm going for a "how SLP did them" look.

Since I have had the lift, that's how I've done them. In the old days, jack stands always seemed to be in the way of the hoist wheels. The lift is a big help with a lot of things.
