Hey all!

I first joined here in 2017 and had an 88 Firebird Formula 305 TBI T-Top w/Auto. I always loved engaging with folks on here while I had it, but I sold it in 2021 when I had an opportunity to snag a local and fairly mint 5-speed 1990 Mustang convertible. After 4 years with the fox, I decided I missed the iconic edge of driving a T-Top car and so I sold the Mustang and picked up an 89 Formula with T-Tops last weekend and I'm stoked!

Her name is Scarlet, she's a 305 TBI 89 Formula with automatic and 92k miles. Interior is in awesome shape aside a baggy headliner and discolored sail panels. The drug-dealer tints on the car in the photos below has already been removed. The first project I'm tackling is a WC T5 swap, but the project list is slowly growing faster than my bank wants - hatch hinge replacement, replace hatch motor, replace spoiler, replace shocks/struts with dial-adjust KYB AGX, go with 3.23 gears to wake things up a bit, rear wing replacement, etc.

Thanks! Pretty nice to have all the options it has (cruise, power windows and locks, trunk release). The AC even blows ice-cold.

Looks great! I have a GTA, but the Formula is still my favorite trim level. I had two in the past.

Great looking car. Get rid of the 2.25 in exhaust and go back with all 3in, this will be one of the biggest upgrades you can do for it. Bumping the timing up to around 6* seemed to pick up my old L03 a lil also.
