WHAT IS A S/E ...WHAT MADE A BIRD S/E?
i have a 82 BIRD S/E ..but i think well why its an S/E? its a 2.8 V6 but its loaded (TTOPS-AC-PW-PS-PLOCKS-....)what really is an S/E ?? its referred to the options ??

Let's see, an S/E is a higher model than a standard firebird, and a lower model than a T/A.
Both the base firebird and the S/E came with the 2.8 v6. But you could get a S/E with a v8. Hope this clears things up a bit, and please correct me if im wrong.

I had an 85 Firebird SE and a 86 T/A. Most of the components were identical (body parts). The SE had an LG-4 engine while the T/A had the TPI LB-9.
The SE was a Trans Am without the ground effects, spoiler, and T-Tops. It has the same WS-6 performance suspension. It actually handled better than my T/A because of the hard top.
