I met him very briefly at the Duke Island Park BBQ. He was a nice guy, and will be missed. My condolences to anyone who was close to him.

Listen guys...

This isn't how he would want you guys to be. I know him well enough to know that without a doubt he would be pissed at all of us for (as he would quote) "wasting our tears on him." Go out and celerate him... Get out on an interstate, find some punk *** rice boy, and burn his *** into the ground.

I just met Erik through this site. He was interested in buying an engine from me to go with his Vortec's. He was so excited about his buildup. I used to read his email and smile at the computer, his enthusiam about his car and his new engine just jumped off the screen and you felt what he was feeling about his car. We only talked for about a month but I feel we developed a friendship. His personality was so awesome,. I was to meet him the first weekend in November when he was to come pick up the engine. I was really looking forward to meeting him and just talking about cars and stuff. I may have only knew him by email but I consider him a friend...a good one too.
My prayers go out to his family, his friends, and to all people who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

I was familiar with Erik through TGO, but never had the privlege of getting to know him. Just reading all these posts show me what a quality person he must have been. It's tragic to hear of a good man leaving us so soon, but it should be a reminder to the rest of us to live each day as if it was our last, because you never know. My prayers and deepest sympathy go out to Erik's family and friends.

I apologize; you're absolutely right. I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it to the services, but if anyone can send me the family's and Lauren's adresses, I'd like to send them cards, as well. I hope everyone that was really close to him is doing alright.

Mark, you got it all wrong. It should be this:
RICE.

hehehe

Since getting my second Camaro, I could never think of a name for it. I finally thought of one, in tribute to Erik's lasting contributions to everyone here: Camaro FX. (For Xenodrgn).

that is sooo sad.
i, being a second year student at NJIT, got an email from the president of the school announcing the tragic death of a student on campus on the morning of oct 18th, i was saddened but it didnt hit home till now. i had no idea, nor ever thought it would be him. i have always wanted to send him a message and tell him to meet me in the parking deck one day after school so we could see each others rides and just talk for a few. im so sorry to hear this and that i didnt act on it sooner so i could have met this fine young NJIT student/thirdgen enthusiast.

my prayers are with you lauren and all who knew him personally like i wish i did.

in memory;
should you go first and i remain
to walk the road alone,
i'll live in memorysgarden,
with happy days we've known
in spring i'll wait for roses red,
when fades the lilac blue,
in early fall, when brown leaves call
i'll catch a glimpse of you.

should you go first and i remain,
for battles to be fought,
each thing you've touched along the way
will be a hallowed spot.
i'll hear your voice, i'll see your smile,
though blindly i may grope, the memory of your helping hand
will bouy me with hope.

should you go first and i remain,
to finish with the scroll,
no length'ning shall creep in
to make this life seem droll.
we've known so much of happiness,
we've had ars cup of joy,
and memory is one gift of ***
that death can not destroy.

shouild you go first and i remain
one thing i'd have you do:
walk slowly down that long, lone path,
for soon i'll follow you.
i'll want to know each step you take
that i may walk the same,
for some day down that lonely road
you'll hear me call your name.

this is for the girlfriend and anyone close to erik.
i say this poem to myself every day to help me cope with the loss of my mother and brother both taken from me in a auto accident.

Although I have never met Erik, I am with those that say it's always tough to see one of our own pass. My thoughts and prayers are with Erik's family and those who are close to him.
