i have a 84 camaro with no emitions hooked up at all. no cat, air pump or egr. i live in fredericksburg VA, you don't have to take the sniffer test but i've been told you have to have it set up to look like it has all of the stuff it is soposed to have. has anyone here gotten a car inspected without any emisions hooked up in this area or anywhere in VA you don't have to take the sniffer test? i realy don't want to dummy it up so is there any way to get it through without having it set up?

 

you could ghetto rig a cat buy gutting it and slidding it over the straight pipe were it would be and then just put the air tube on it and just mount it somewhere..

i wouldnt worry about the air pump too much..
