Do not use Papaw's Auto Salvage
They're listed in the phone book as a Manassas number, the guy's house is in Manassas but the yard is out in Shenandoah county somewhere. He quoted me $150 for a rebuildable 350 short block, plus $25 to haul it back to Manassas for me. I went to his house (I live in Manassas) gave him a $50 deposit. He said he'd have it for me by Saturday.
Called him Saturday, left a message.
Called him Sunday, TALKED TO HIS WIFE, who said he was on the other line and would call me back in 10 minutes.
Called him Monday, left a message.
Called him today (Tuesday), number is busy.
He has never called me back. If I can't get in touch with him today I'll be dropping by his house again this afternoon to ask for my $50 back.
