Hm; might not be able to make the August 7th one- with the Firebird, at least. It's going under the knife soon!! (If you can call a plasma cutter a "knife") https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=250400 I was gonna do some prep work on it today, but it's probably not a good idea to use an electric welder outside in the rain, eh?
But September 25th is definately cool with me. Actually the only "bad" weekend is August 13/14/15... gotta work.

1st post here.
Weird question. It is ok to come to one of these things even if your 3rd gen doesn't look all that hot?
I would love to come.

Here's the scoop on the park:

From Northern MD/ points from North:
695 South Exit 42 - North Point Blvd./Sparrows Point. Bear right onto 151 South -- North Point Blvd. First left (Edgemere/Ft. Howard) onto North Point Rd. (into edgemere) you will pass a wawa on the left, then sparrows point HS on the left, stay LEFT at the fork in the road, strait for about a 1/2 mile, park entrance is on left. (bay shore road)
From Southern MD/VA/DC area
(I-95N to I 695 East, key bridge)
I95 North to 695E to Exit 43 -- Sparrows Point. Left (at ramp) onto Rte 158 -Bethlehem Blvd towards Edgemere/Fort Howard. Proceed to traffic light at North Point Blvd. Straight through the light onto North Point Rd. (into edgemere) you will pass a wawa on the left, then sparrows point HS on the left, stay LEFT at the fork in the road, strait for about a 1/2 mile, park entrance is on left. (bay shore road)
Basically after you get off of I-695 (and onto north point road if you are coming from the North, it's the first left) you stay strait on the main road until you hit the park. It will be on the left. (If you end up at Fort Howard Park, that's the end of the road, you have gone too far! It's back about 2 miles.)
Also, please note that mapquest says North Point Road/RT 20. there is no signs for RT20, just North Point Road, which are the same. Just worth mentioning.

How long is this bbq going to be? I get off at 5 and would like to come down. If I get there by 5:30 will anybody still be there??? I guess I will talk to Lisa to see what the deal is.

What time works best for everyone?
I was thinking starting at 12 or 1 and wrapping up whenever? That should give the folks coming from a ways out enough time to get there.

Only a week left folks!
I really need everyone to hit the food thread and post up what they plan on bringing, it's crucial to sort that out AHEAD of time.

Hey all,
I'll be copping out like a biznatch, sorry to add to the hoards of people not going, but this month has been tumultuous to say the least, and I've ended up in VA for the weekend. Maybe I'll be able to show up for the Sept. one complete w/ paintjob and hood, who knows.
ps. MDFormula350, what do you think of Racer's Den? Joker is my boyfriend on there. Most of them are incredibly opinionated while somehow managing to be astoundingly ignorant, so I don't post lol. They're dramatic to say the least....... I wish you luck lol. .....then again I notice most of your posts are in the **** section, so there you go
