Edelbrock headers/being legal in Maryland

I have the edelbrock headers and I just moved to Maryland so I had to get my car inspected. The problem is that the inspector is unsure if the headers are legal in MAryland even though it has the E.O. Number stamped on the passenger side. So I was hoping that someone would be able to tell me where I would find some good concrete proof that I can show him to prove that the number makes the headers legal. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tim

Yeah, I printed that out. I do not think I will have too much trouble getting by. He is not being tough about it, I just want to make sure that I have good proof when i go back for the recheck. Other than the headers, I just had to get new tires which I knew was necessary; I also had to replace the front rotors because they were too thin and also take the tint off of the back window. I was expecting much more trouble getting this car inspected, but it is not nearly as bad as I expected. Thanks for the reference MdFormula, for info and the inspection.

HA! I knew you'd show up sooner or later. I was out on Crain Hwy the other night in my S10 tailing you for some time. Nice car! Made me wish I was in my Z

BTW - As far as the MSI goes: As long as the emissions components are still there (ie AIR injection, 02 sensor), the MSI inspector has no reason to say anything about headers, EO or not.
