As of Sunday I will be the proud owner of my 1st F-body. The Juicy stuff is in the signature but the basics are:
Its an 86 Iroc, Its the Dark Red color that looks purple in the dark but red in the light (I call it Dark Cherry, i have no idea what its actually called) With the Gold Rims and Gold Iroc Decals and striping.
Its a nice car with alot of work done to it, but the trans is having its slippage issues under hard load.
However this wont be a daily driver (i have a fox body Rustang for that) I am in Chevrolet ASEP training and we get to work on our cars at school, so if the trans can survive for a few years it will get rebuilt at school by me for the cost of parts.
Anyways I cant wait to get out to meetings and shows and im Based out of Glen Burnie Maryland so if ya ever see a Red Iroc its probably me.

Make note of the Crusin event. Free Bird is looking for a roommate for the event to save cost. We actualy have aggreed on a hotel the majority of us will be staying at. That is the event to not be missed this year and the start of the season.
Local Third Gen meets are in Bel Air/ Churchville should be about 30 minutes from you but its an awesome drive. Thats every Friday night, which you can also see the information in that thread.

Okay She finally came today and welcomed the new Iroc home, It needs a but of work brakelines and trans filter and the little things but its a sweet car and it sounds very nice.
Putting the pictures in links because...its easier.
Built motor(see Sig) not much work needed here, pass side valve cover is leaking some but thats easy to fix.
Interior Red/Tan cloth Front and rear as well as the side panels on the B Pillar
Best picture of the car I have (its cold as heck here today)
I welcome comments on the car and cant wait to come out to the meets when it gets warm.

Welcome to the boards...I think that color is called "Black Cherry." Looks black at night or in cloudy weather and has purple when the sun hits it. Was my favorite color car when I was growing up -- always dreamed of having a car that color...might still do it someday, lol.
Kitten -- is that your red car painted or a new Camaro for you? WOW! is all I can say. Are you ready for the Third Gen Nationals? Got a place to stay if you're interested, lol!
