tuning help please

I live in western Maryland and have been trying for sometime to find a shop that can tune the carb. on a stock 350 with a 142 supercharger.
Does anyone know of a shop anywhere near Frostburg or Cumberland MD?
I can't take the car to far since i don't want to hurt the engine.
thanks for any and all help

Nate

Dyno Tuning....

Not with the dyno we have. We have a load cell dyno that reproduces the same forces that the engine has while driving on the street. It really is the only safe way to monitor and correct fuel delivery while loading the engine. You can do it on the street, but it takes much longer and really is not as safe.
The added benefit of dyno tuning is that ability to measure the results of every adjustment. It takes the guesswork out of the tune. With boosted cars, it is even more important.
We have tuned many, many carb cars including super charged cars.

I'll keep you in mind when the road is salt free I might be able to talk someone in to towing my car down there. Do you have an guess about what the total cost to tune will be?

It is best to use street tires on the dyno. The tune should be based the type of gas you will run the most. I have a holley jet kit, but I would recommend some extra fuel bowl gaskets. Be sure the car has a new/good ignition setup (plugs/wires/cap/rotor) and that all fluid levels are good.

That is about it. We have many parts stores next to our shop, so if we need anything, we can get most of it.
