Any interest in meeting up at the track for this event?

I plan on attending as well as Dennis(Bluebeast) and also Kris(Krisb410) and it'd be cool to get some others.

No dragstrip till my new engine is in. I rather not embarrass myself ;-)

Hey Mike who cares if its not as fast as you like juts go for fun and run it. Atleast you'll have a baseline so when the new motor is in you can see how much difference it made.

 

If I can get my formula figured out by then Ill definetly be up for a trip.

Exactly. Its all about having fun not about who has the fastest car. Mike you would also be very suprised at how slow some cars run because the drivers suck. Me including. Though i did run my best this past sunday i also ran my worst! I spun half way down the track, i stalled, i bogged it all happens. Its all practice, fun, meeting people, just hanging out that makes it worth while. Trust me 15s arent that slow when people run EVERYTHING down the track. Majority of the imports are in the 15s so you'll compete.

 

Taking a break from my motor & trans mount & header install right now so if all goes well I will definitely be there .

I'll be the old bald guy in the primered IROC .

 

Just a heads up I have run into some problems with my car I think I have a vavle sticking. I am going to thrash on the car to get it ready for this event, but theres a possibility that the heads might need to be taken off. I'll still be there but it might not be with the car.

 

As of now everything looks good for Fri. even the weather. I will probaly be leaving around 4ish to beat the traffic so hopefully everyone is still going and Steve I got you a helmet.

 

I found my helmet from when I used to have a motorcycle.

I might come too...still have rubber on the quarter panels from 2 weeks ago in Richmond, won't have to worry about gettin it dirty again.

Well I had a good time except for my little problem. It was nice to see all the 3rd gens there. Congrats to Steveo for his new best. Glad to meet raptor80dad. Hopefully I won't be down long and can get back to the track with you guys.

yeah, i left early- had to bring the little brother and he got bored real fast. He's more into the 7 second pro stock cars so we sat around the whole time making fun of some of the garbage that was there. I mainly wanted to go to see Kris make a pass in his car! Hopefully there will be more opportunities for chatting without the little bro tuggin on the shirt (like this winter....maybe swapping in an ls1)
