I know a lot of shop guys come on here so I am hoping one of oyu can help me out. I am loosing 4th gear in my T56.

I would like to have it rebuilt but I need to know how much it will cost if I bring the car with the tranny in it and with me jus tbring the tranny already out the car.

You might want to call up National Auto Care Center (NACC) on Merrit blvd in dundalk. They specialize in 4th gen f-bodies. My brother had his t56 taken out by them, then they sent it to a guy who rebuilt it for pretty cheap (like $400). Maybe just ask them who does their trannies for them and take it straight to that place.

 

Do you have the number for them I tried superpages and yellow pages with no luck. My tranny just took a crap so its pretty important now.

 

I couldn't find the number either. I'll have to get a hold of my brother, he should have it.

here's where it is if you wanted to stop by...
take the merrit blvd exit off of 695. make a left at the first light (north point road) first entrance on the left. the guy there might remember my brother justin (with the 95 TA, specs in my sig), they put on his mufflex exhaust and did his tranny.
