Fender Damaged & Distributor needs tweaked
About two weeks ago while I was on 288 my left front tire tread popped which then in turn slapped my fender like a whip and damaged the lower right portion of the fender near the door/ground effect. I was wondering if anyone local (richmond area or even stafford or VA beach/norfolk) would have a fender from a 3rd gen camaro that I could buy from em cheap. As long as there is no rust I will buy it. I found a junkyard about two hours away that has one for 50 bux but by the time I go down there and back I would have spent the money I would have bought the fender for just in gas alone. If anyone can help I have a friend (not sure if he is available to do so at the time I get the fender) but I will need a fender mount remade since the damage includes the mount it knocked off as well as I need to reposition my horn since that took on damage as well. Besides the fender issue I will need to have the distributor need to be adjusted too I was told it was running too high. The check engine lights comes on (checked the code with a paper clip and looked in the car maintaince manual) as well as its the engine bogs down and sounds like it has a faint knock. When I got the engine at 94k miles it was rebuilt as well as put together right its just I think, but not sure, the distributor/timing needs to be adjusted but I do not have the timing light to do so or the knowledge enough about engines to do it properly.
If anyone needs computer work I can repair/rebuild/custom build a machine for them as well as provide tech support AND web site creation/graphics design for them. I can also do photography for the site as well.
Thank you for your time
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
