Summer is gone, winter is near. Who's got winter projects?

Today's cold weather reminded me that summer is over and winter is almost here. Plus, I saw a similar thread in another regional board, so I figured I'd ask it here too. Who's got a project(s) planned for this winter? As for me, I'm hoping to rebuild and upgrade the suspension on my GTA.

just riding it like usual I work on my stuff year round though.

I need a paint job horribly, thinking about going to gray or something more manageable.

i also like mdformula am in need of a good paint job. But my philosophy is "I'll make it pretty when its fast enough" And we all know that although we say our car or project is done but we are already thinking about what else can we do to make power. So in reality, it will never be fast enough

Re: Summer is gone, winter is near. Who's got winter projects?

Let's see...for my Iroc I need to run new brake lines, master, line lock, adj prop, and fine tune everything together. Adjust the suspension, paint the car, and hopefully if I can I'm going to drop in the ls1/t56 with a tubular k , a few changes interior wise and eventually move on to buying and making my coworker's firebird a daily driver until I am ready to drop serious money into it.

Well, lets see, how about finishing my winter '04 project. Maybe this winter I'll get the '86 Iroc back together. Currently it is on a rotisserie in about 1,000 pieces.

Re: Summer is gone, winter is near. Who's got winter projects?

Polished pullies, polished water pump, chrome steering pump, chrome alt, aluminum rad, maybe chrome the acc bracket..or at least clean it up. I really want to compliment the polished TPI rig with getting the rest of the engine as nice.

Maybe I'll get around to the coil-overs and complete suspension upgrades. 1LE brakes too...maybe...

Project is to get the smell out (carpet and headliner, maybe sound insulation) get it to run right, brakes and front end work to make it driveable, paint it, stereo... or just push it into the pasture and burn it!!

Re: Summer is gone, winter is near. Who's got winter projects?

305 coming out and 385 fastburn going in, IF I can get it over to the shop to get it swapped. Snow came way too early here My garage is too small to do it myself or I would, everything else I can do on my own though. Plan on tearing down the interior (carpet, seats. headliner already out) to start freshening it up.
