So my front end got into a fight with a trailer hitch, and lost.

lady slams the breaks on as she gets to the intersection.... on a green light.

so i need to get my front end replaced asap, i do onsite IT support, so if i cant get this taken care of in a day or two, im ****ed.


buddy of mine has an 82, which i think should work, but i dont know how much of the front end can actually be swapped, so any help would be awesome, be it information or an extra pair of hands.

You need a frame shop, more then just new front end parts. That front rad support is pretty crunched and i can assure you both frame end tabs where the front bumper support is are probably crinkled. If you want the car to be right, its gonna take some $. Simply replacing the parts that are cracked/bent is going to be a headache, especially trying to get them to even line up with the bolt holes...

 

ya, i took a better look at it after i calmed down.... ****ing trailer hitch....

looks like im gonna be in the market for a new 3rd gen...

no insurance? call em and say you got hit in a p lot while in store.

depending on who you are with, i had liability on one of my cars, got hit in a plot, and they claimed it as uninsured motrist.

 

well the car seems to be 100% drivable, isnt pretty if you pop the hood, but nothing is falling off.... so we'll see what happens after the next autox. planning on getting it up in the air and checking vital parts, but from what ive seen from it up on jacks nothing important was damaged, it just looks alot worse then it used to.
