O.K......Now that my car starts as soon as I "try" to put the positive cable to the battery....I now have to firgure out where I went wrong!!!!!! I have the red (positive) cable that goes to the large stud on the starter, and from that cable (battery post end) there is a red 10 gauge wire that I think goes to a "tower" looking device with four other wires together. The black (negitive) cable is grounded the the body of the car, and has a 10 gauge tail that is also bolted (grounded) to the frame. When I took the starter out to have it tested, the positive cable was on the big stud along with two other smaller wires. and I think there was one wire that went to the other smaller stud on the starter.Somewhere I messed up and now I don't know where to start!!
