New MD kid

hey guys! im new to the camaro scene, I live in MD right around BWI and this is my ride. an original z28 with Iroc hood and wheels. This car has a 350 swap from a corvette, not an LT1 but the 87-92 corvette's. It has shorty headers, 3 inch pipe, and edlebrock dual exhaust. I have no clue what has been done to the engine, bunch of my friends say it seems to possibly have high compression pistons. I want to call the guy and see what I can figure out. but it has been restored/repainted. car is imaculate. picked it up out past frederick for $1800 car runs and drives like a champ.

I get down that way, my buddy lives in edgewater and he goes out to capitol on occasion. has a 73 charger(purple/blue in color) and a blue/tan power ram that he drags. I want to go down there someday and see what I can run

Very clean looking, the color is nice too -- I don't know that I've seen others in that color. I'm a bit late in offering the welcome, but it still stands. It's a great group of people and I've made quite a few friends here.

Re: New MD kid

Some nice looking 3rd gens.

I brought mine for $4000 with alot of engine mods done. Come to find out the block had a cracked cyclinder wall. So had a new engine redone so that cost abit.
Some pictures and some vids of it. The vids are with the old engine in it.

im rather lucky, the body and interior is imaculate so I dont really have to worry about that. I probably should get my trans overhauled. I kinda want to see about getting a 400 though. although with and open dif it wont really matter lol. I should look into getting gears but im going slow for now

Thats pretty sweet. I was lookin at seats the other day cause I found some racing harnesses for cheap. Im rather sad though, Hurst doesnt make a ratchet shifter for a 700R4 I'll just have to stick with B&M

I know that much. I always go for how dollar good stuff now then cheap stuff. cause it worth it in the long run.
stuff happens and better to fix it now then later on driving down the road or far from home.

i might have a set of cragers im going be selling, im taking them off my trans am. im putting on the gta rims i got from crazy rays and got to get me my street slicks for my 2nd set of rear rims.

Yeah, I've seen some on the trans-ams before. they look pretty good. thick 5spokes seem to work well on the camaro's but they have to have the right shape
