Super Chevy @ Maple Grove
I was just wondering if anyone was going to the Super Chevy show at Maple Grove Raceway on 7/16-7/18? I will be there racing in the DOT class and participating in the Tremec True Street Challenge. I have to redeem myself from last years mishap and try to take home the 10 second field trophy.

I won the True Street 10 second class. After a 22 mile cruise which included back hilly roads along with a 10 mile run down the highway and then more back roads I won the 10 second index field. I ran a 10.20 and then two 10.14 to take the win. I had a blast but to tell you the truth I was no impressed with the way Super Chevy is being run, not sure if I will go back again next year.

Congrats. It's nice to see another third gen win the 10.00. My buddy won in June at the grove. I had to work so I couldn't make it. The roads around the track can suck. And I176 can be a decent cruise. I heard alot of complaints about the show. Congrats again Dennis.

Re: Super Chevy @ Maple Grove
Complaints, don't get me started. The big Biotch was NO CANOPYS in the show field. I might see their reasoning, don't want cars getting scratched if the wind picks up, but how about a note on the website saying no canopys. Pretty much everyone out there fried Sat and Sunday, then the $45 show fee only pays for car and driver, the other occupant is a spectator, 35 for them, once again the website did not say that, $80 to sit and bake. And Sat is pretty much worthless car show wise, Sunday is a judge day also so you can sit and bake all weekend just so someone can show up Sunday and win your class. We wil definately re-evaluate this for next year. People complain about Carilsle, but it is head over heels better than that was.
