need help painting

is anyone else local?
and would be interested in helping me paint a 88 IROC
I've never painted a car before so its a learning experience and just wanted to know if anyone local had any tips
or just someone to chat with while I'm working.
Only going to be able to work on car on weekends (assuming it ever stops raining)
