Capitol Raceway tonight
I'll be racing at Capitol tonight in Crofton, MD, if anyone else in the area is interested in some TnT. I have a black '87 IROC-Z with a "Daytona" hood and Weld Pro-Stars. Looking for that elusive 12-second timeslip, but this time I'm ready. Had a new Auburn race differential installed this week to take care of the 1-wheel burnouts and launches and the drag tires (front skinnies and rear Drag Radials) will be mounted up this afternoon.

Well, it was a little too cold outside since I couldn't hook up for the first 50-100 feet.
The new Auburn diff worked great, car ran fine, just that the track was a little slick. My best time was a 13.08 at 105.9 mph with a 2.01 60-foot time, with a bunch of 13.1's and 13.2's at 106-106.5 mph.
The only problem is that my tranny wouldn't shift into 3rd or 4th gear on the way home from the track.
1st and 2nd gears are still there and working fine, so I took the back roads home and will be calling the shop today to figure out what to do...
