hey guys, I am going to be heading back to the dragway to test my car after putting bigger injectors in it. I am thinking of going this friday, if the weather is cool enough. Let me know if anyone else is interested in going to milan dragway.

Wish i could man but i got to playing with my motor and there is still something not right at all. She refuses to run well over 4000 rpm grrrr. But i just found out something today. When i lined up my cam there is 3 diff ways you can do it Circle triangle and square. The guy that build my bottom end used the square keyway so i used the square marked tooth to set the timing. now i come to find out that square means advanced and triangle means retarded. Im kind of pissed off at him now. Im gonna have to tear it all back down and pull the sprocket off of the crank and put it back on so the circle is on the keyway. Man maybe i should retire from working on cars and just buy bikes from now on.

 

Well good luck getting the cam lined up correctly, it will all be worth it once you get her running again!

I think I am going to head out to the dragway on wednesday, since it is supposed to rain on friday. I really want to see what she will run with the new injectors. Let me know when you are ready to take your car to the strip, I'll come out.

I wish we could get a thirdgen track gathering going sometime, or a dyno day. But I do not think anyone else races their cars.
