need 305/350 short/longblock
I need any combination of the above. Does anyone have one laying around that they'd be interested in dumping? Currently I have the LB9 in the car I just picked up but the block is junk. I even have a 350 bare block but the cost of preparing it and the changes required to put it in the car are a bit discouraging.
I'm located about 60 miles WNW of chi-town just south of the Wis border.
Oh yeah and I'd prefer it be an 87+

I have a 305 long block that I could sell you. It is complete except for the carb, which I have sold last week. Everything else is there, and it's still in the car. Im in Glenview IL, just north of chicago, so we are close to each other.

Thanks for the replies. I also ended up going with a 355. I'm currently trying to find a roller cam for it. I hate budget builds.
