Need roller/ 355 cui. forsale
I am getting back into road racing. I need solid roller chassis. Must be Coupe and 5 spd. car.I have done to many auto to stick swaps, I don't want to do any more. Camaro body can be a Z-28, RS, or IROC. Also can be a V-6 car( I have parts for swap). Pontiac body I prefer a Trans-Am or GTA. The body may have front clip missing as long as the frame is straight and solid.
If I can not find a body at a reasonable cost, then I am selling a 355 cui 11:1 small block engine, and buy a forign IT car( I DON'T WANT TO. YUK!)
Engine has 1200 non-competitive miles (had to drive the car to Grattan Michigan for a MWCSCC event to officiate). Comp Cams 286H grind (.507" int./ .510" exh), Angus full roller rocker arms ( 1.5 ratio), Pro Gear double roller timing chain, Edelbrock 750 cfm cab, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake( w/ plenum machined), 1966 Corvette 64 c.c. Cylinder heads ( Bowl blended, SEATS NOT HARDEND), 2.02 int/ 1.60 exh. stainless steel valves, Melling High Volume oil pump, Holley fuel pump, TRW 11:1 forged aluminium pistons, forged steel crankshaft, forged steel connecting rods, Aluminium water pump ( Corvette 5/8 shaft). The ignition is set up with Accel module, coil, cap, rotor, and 8mm spark plug wires. Spring kit for mechanical advance installed.Front accsecories set up as Corvette to make room for Electric fan set-up I had. Power Steering pump and altenater go with engine. This engine is perfect for NASA American Iron Series. $ 4,000 into it, sell for $ 2,500 o.b.o.
Also for sale is one set of 17" Goodyear Eagle ZR45's. They only have three miles on them ( from dealer to performance tire shop). Size is 245/45 17. $ 200
Thanks for looking,

I just purchased a 86 IROC with rough body but no rust. It is a roller with no engine or trans. I have a ton of parts so was going to build the car for my kid and do a custom paint and interior. I would sell it for $500.00 as I have cancer and don't know if I will be able to do the build because of health. It is in storage but I could go out there this week and get some pics. The color is silver and I am in the Detroit area of michigan.

Thanks for the note.
However , I found a car in Oklahoma.
You can go ahead and send pics so if I hear someone else looking, I could pass the info on.
Sorry to hear you got cancer. My wife just finished her treatments four months ago for Ovarian cancer. That is the reason I got out of racing for a year, and sold most of my stuff.
Don't let cancer get in the way. You should go ahead and start the project with your son. That time together in health or sickness is PRICELESS!
It was a sad day when I had to sell my 85 Z-28 that I used to run. The time my three sons and I building that car is something that we all cherish.
I wish you luck Chris, and we will say a prayer.
