I tore my weatherstripping on the pass side trying to take it out because someone glued it in! Does anyone have one on their parts car or otherwise? Doesn't have to be new but I don't want anything with holes or cracks or tears.

It's right next to impossible to remove the t-top weatherstripping from a thirdgen w/o ripping the hell out of it. Believe me, I just did this last week on my car. I was taking my time removing the weatherstripping from the t-bar, being all gentle, then RIP! Then I had to fork over 240 bucks for a new set of weatherstripping. I havent talked to anyone that has accomplished this successfully. And yes, they come factory glued in place.

I guess I was lucky to get my drivers side out in one piece! Someone must have replaced it becuase htere was no glue on it!

 

stiers you may be in luck i just aquired a 91 camaro parts car with t-tops and i can try and remove the seal you need and see if it comes out in one peice if your interested in it ???....let me know and i can give it a try today if you want ...

 

nope sorry man went to remove the passenger seal today and its glued in so im not touchin it ...lol...sorry man

 

Thats ok, I ended up getting a seal from someone else. It has 2 tears in the bottom but they are small, not visable, and aren't going to affect that seal.

 

awsome well if you need any other little parts for your car let me know what you might need and i can see if i have it still since im parting out this camaro ....its a 91 rs with t-tops was in a major front end collision so pretty much no good body panels except the rear hatch...LOL....

 

I need the metal strip that attatches the drivers side door GFX to the door. I could probably use another radio trim plate and shift plate if they are good.

The pass. side one esp. Mines got a little crack and is old.
