New Here

Hi Guys, New here! I am located in Madison, WI. I like to fix things so I drive Fords primarily. I however just picked up a 1991 Camaro RS that has been converted to a 350 TPI with a Cam, headers and 3" exhaust. The car has been lightened by removed all power accesories including the A/C equip and A/C and heater box under the dash.

The Can is fairly quick and I have purchased an adjustable Nitrous system to install on it as well as a shift kit. I also am keepign my eye open for a set of 3.73's or 4.10's with a posi diff to install..

So what woudl yo guys do with a car like this next? I am going to have a buddy of mine who is a regular on here burn a custom prom for me, and will probably be figuring out somethign for te intake becasue the car is starving for air..

turbo 400 most definantly!! With the cash you spend on that TPI shizzle you could have already done a BBC or even a stump pullin 383!

I bought this car just the way it is, so I want to keep the 350 TPI for now. I bought a Nitrous Kit ( 50-175 HP) and already have a line up on a 4.11 disc brake posi rear.

sweet if you could get it to hook with the gears and the spray youll be low 11s for sure. Id watch out with the nitrous though. make sure you retard your timing as said in the instructions accordingly. I had a 75 shot on my S-10 and ran a 14.0 @ 95 mph from a 15.7 that night! Have fun!!

My goal is first to run low 13's or high 12's on all motor. I have an extensive background in racing and will have no problem making the car hook. It has 2.73's right now and can't hook so I have alot of work ahead of me.

SO far the car needs a custom prom burned, new plug wires ( has farm and fleet wires on it now!!)

I am putting in a shift kit asap, and MAYBE a 2400 or 2600 stall converter, and some drag radials with those 4.11's. That should put me in my low 13 second goal. In a month or so I will pull the engine and throw a cam and heads on it, and polish the runners so they look pretty.. that should get me in the 12's.. then I'll spray the 175 shot and hold on

Wonder how long the stock rear end will last?

Do you have subframe conectors? If not I would get some and work on upgrading the suspension Sphon makes good stuff for that with fairly decent prices.
