Upcoming Event: Jefferson Fall Car Show & Swap Meet

The 27th annual Fall Jefferson Car Show & Swap Meet is coming up. The event runs Saturday and Sunday, September 26th & 27th. I have been going to the Jefferson car show & swap meets (spring and summer) for years (when I can) and it's a lot of fun. Some good deals can be found and there are some nice cars on display.

For those of you not familiar with the Jefferson swap meets here is a link: http://www.jeffersonswapmeet.com/

I plan to attend. Who else is going to be there?

Mike

An added note. Classic Industries is there every year, so if people need parts they have them and they bring a truck load of parts. They have a web sight you can look up. If you order something i think they'll bring it with that way you wont have to pay S&H. I'm planning on getting a quarter panel skin so i'll be calling and finding out if they'll do that.

THIS IS BY FAR, THE BEST SWAP MEET IN THE MIDWEST.
MY SON AND I HAVE BEEN GOING TWICE A YEAR FOR THE PAST FIVE YEARS.I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO CAN ATTEND TO BE THERE. I HAVE SEEN INCREDIBLE DEALS THERE, BUT ONE DOES NEED TO GO FOR BOTH DAYS TO BE ABLE TO TAKE THE TIME TO SEE IT ALL.WOULD'NT YOU AGREE?

I concur! Alot of stuff to see.
The only gripe I have is the amount of non-automotive things for sale i.e 'beanie babies', matchbox cars, etc, etc, etc. I know it fills spaces (puts money in Madison Classics pocket) and is entertaining to kids and those who tag or are 'dragged along' It would sure be nice if such vendors(soley selling such stuff) were concentrated in one area so I don't waist my time.

Yes I agree with that put all the non auto stuff in one area. Wow did I get some nice buys yesterday for some parts for my camaro. Just a few spare pieces. Was there for 9 hours looking. It is by far the best show in the Midwest.

JEFFERSON SWAP MEET/CAR SHOW

JUST GOT BACK FROM TWO DAYS THERE.
YOU DO HAVE A POINT-I DID SEE ALOT OF JUST PLAIN CRAP!
I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE CAR SHOW ON SUNDAY. A VERY NICE BUNCH OF GTO'S,FIREBIRDS,BONNEVILLES, AND OTHER MODELS TO SEE AND DROOL OVER. GOT SOME UNBELIEVABLE DEALS-AGAIN.
FOR EXAMPLE:
TWO 16 BY 8 INCH TRANS AM ALUMINUM WHEELS FOR $30
A LIKE NEW EDELBROCK VICTOR 4 PLUS 4 MANIFOLD FOR $30
A HOLLEY 600(1850-3) FOR $10
A SUPER NICE GM RADIO/CASSETE PLAYER FOR $5
AN AUBURN 7.5 INCH POSI FOR $5!!!!!!!
WAY BETTER THAN EBAY!
ALREADY MADE RESERVATIONS FOR SPRING MEET.
(NEED TO BRING MORE MONEY NEXT TIME)
