Well along time ago I had a 78 Z-28 & a 82 Z-28 pace car. (to bad I don't have pics). Well I got married & the wife said they were not pratical cars so they had to go.
After 6 years of marriage I decided that the wife was no longer pratical & she had to go. She went & a another Camaro took her place!!
I just bought this one off eBay. Nothing special but I can't find any rust on the car what so ever. Strange for being a Northern car. Ofcource considering it's age, it does have problems. But then again it snows 6 months out of the year here & I have a Garage!
A 91 Camaro RS & now I am waiting for the snow to fly so I can get some work done....
It also made the 6 hour drive home perfectly. I was rather surprised it didn't hesitate one bit.

yes...i am in green bay...the old car had a fiberglass cfi hood with the guts removed and sported a built 350 with a 6spd....that poor car is in georgia now but this one i bought is like 100 times nicer!!!...the floor pans are like freaking brand new...the car has a fresh 305 with a cam new carb and performer intake with a rebuilt 700r4/shift kit
i am trying to sell a ls1/6spd out of a 98, if that goes through i will have another set of low mileage leather seats just like the old car i owned :hail:
this car is almost the exact same car i sold except for being auto/ac/rear drums.....guy in tow has a 3 inch harwood for me that is already painted black and i am getting that for real cheap
if you're the same person i am thinking of i talked with you about a maroon gta/trans am at road america

(it needed a second gear and a syncro. )
I put in the 2nd gear, syncro and I also put in some shift fork pads and a syncro hub (got a deal at work)
I felt I got a very good deal from you

formularpm, the dyno results are :
265 hp @ 5250 rpm
274 tq @ 4500 rpm
I would like to point out though, that I asked them NOT to run it above 5500 rpm.
I wish that I hadn't done this, as the HP still had not peaked, and could have resulted in some higher numbers, but I was nervous of suffering engine damage, and being faced with a 2.5 hour drive home.
If I can make the trip next year, I'll let them hammer it for all she's worth, and then I'll know for sure then
And thanks for the compliment on the car, it's kind of nice to be the owner of one of the early third gens, and being noticed
