what else can go wrong?

The other day my whiteface guage kit came in and I went to put it in and accidently broke the needle on my 145 speedo. That minorly iritated me but then the next day the brakes went out on my 86 sport coupe daily driver. I decided that it was not worth fixing due to the knock in the motor so I junked it for an aternator for my rustang and $20. so anyway I go back to driving the rustang and two days later the tranny blows in it ! So now I am down to just my IROC and it has no guages in it right now no exaust and needs a frontend alignment somthing feirce. I just needed to vent. I am so irritated It seems like I just cant win. Anybody got any ideas on what I should do? I am really thinking about parting out my Iroc just to get enuf money to get a car that will last me more than a couple of months

A little off the question you asked ,but i was wondering what year the mustang is? Is it a solid body? And if you're selling it? My brother is looking for a fox-body. Just wondering. Thanks and sorry to hear about the cars. That really sucks!!

The rustang in bad shape bro!

So anyway why do I ask what else can happen! Yesterday I set up a deal that will get me a delta 88 for my rustang and some cash and after the deal is set up I go to show the guy my Iroc and as I am trying to start it I get this strange clunk clunk clunk noise coming from the back passenger side of the motor. So today I get up and go outside to investigate this problem and I am not sure if this is a bad flywheel (looks ok) or a bad starter or somthing internally wrong with my motor. Im gonna start with the starter seeings as how it is in the area the noise is most defined

my advice is buy something boring and reliable, so you have atlest one drivable car at all times. get anything...

I have a 92 bonneville its real reliable and I drive the living crap out of it. any h-body with a 3800 will do... all those cars seem to be mechanically sound for the most part.

they aren't exciting, they handle like a shopping cart crossed with a water bed, but they last and you can buy em pretty cheap. get one from some old person. thats what I did... I don't know where I would be without my bonnie to get from A to B while the trans am is in the shop

i just bought a winter beater while i put my sport coupe together. its a saab 9000 cd turbo. and its a 5 speed. the best thing about it is that it was only 300$. i got it from where i work so i know the history of it. very reliable car. im with merlot- fro on get ting something reliable. mines no exciting but it gets me around.

ps in manitowoc ive heard of some unbeliveable deals they have. my friend bought a car for 35 bucks a while ago, no rust and runs perfect. no problems after almost a year now.

actually I'm thinking about trying to find a dirt cheap saturn and selling the bonneville (or letting my lil sister drive it). so atleast when I'm not in my f-body I can save a few bucks on gas or atleast not have to fill up so often.

and when I dont need it anymore I can drive it through a corn field or something.

when you have a thirdgen its almost required that you have one other car. for instance my trans am is getting a 305 to 350 swap. the transmission "just dont feel right" and once i get that bigger motor put in know that tranny is gonna be on its last legs. and once again i'll be driving the bonneville while the trans am is getting fixed
