I'm posting here because:
1-I'm from Minnesota.
2-Looking for Third gen project.
3-Classified section doesn't let me log-in.

What I have is an '86 s-10 motor and tranny are junk. So basically roller. nice shape though.

What I want is a third gen(RS or Z-28) roller or complete, in similar condition. Pontiacs okay too, formula or T/A.
Or a runner in OK condition only if v-8, TPI preffered.

I'm open to complete stock four cylinder camaros or firebirds in good shape. Manual tranny only for v-6s and fourbangers.

it has a 305 v-8 auto. tranny. runs good. it has 154xxx miles on it can u send me more pics of the truck to tebright@iw.net? what wrong with the motor and tranny

 

THe motor is a 1.9l I-4 that runs on 2 because the rings are out on the rear 2 cyl. 0-4 psi compression. Tranny works but, some gears don't go in easy. 4-speed manual.

I have a parts rig to go with it, SOLID drive train. 91 s-10 w/ 2.8l and 5-speed manual tranny. 91 was rolled on side into tree, so I chopped top, and runs and drives. NO title for parts rig.

The interior is in okay condition. Bucket seats, the cab and box are connected via a sub box fabricated in. Sealed to the weather. THe sub box originally housed 4 12" pioneer subs. Now built for two 12". no radio or speakers in truck now. Grant steering wheel painted to match exterior paint.

2. I have a 89 RS, no motor or tranny in it. I don't have pictures at this time. could have a 283 and a 700r4 that needs some work.

that is not the one. engine will need intake and carb. trans would need govoner ( if i remember correctly) i have drove it many miles in WI and all over.

 

I am in Hopkins with a 1989 Formula droptop I am working on. If you were looking at Pontiacs, I'd seen one in St. Louis Park, but sadly, V6 on that. The seller was listing a bit high...for some time. I bought mine 'from' Auto Trader some years back in Minneapolis.

this is the roller that I have! 89 RS started life with a tiny 2.8L converted to V-8. Was a daily driver until I bought a different camaro. Speedworks has first say so on it!

I know I've seen it out & running around before, but to be damned if I can remember when or where.

To bad you aren't interested in Firebirds. I just saw one for sale about 1 mile north of Pine River on hwy #371. It looks like a 86-87 GTA, but I didn't get a price.
