well currently the 383 is in pieces. it would include everything minus the crank although i'm working on picking one up for $650 brand new. i purchased it through scoggin dickey new in 2003 and some change. if you are indeed serious i will sell it apart as is so you can assemble it or for a small fee... whatever it would cost me (cheap though i'm sure) as well as have it all blue printed for you which isn't so cheap which i would cover.

i could and plan to pick up a new crank for $650 that belongs in it and have it professinally assembled sometime in a week or so at which time the price will go up for whatever it costs me. probably looking at $2,000 or slightly under which is still under the $3400 i paid. i'm selling it because i plan to use an ls2 in the new car so i'm getting rid of all my tpi parts.

here is the link to where i bought the block and some specs.. just checked for you and the price has dropped a little from what i paid. definately more expensive then doing up your own 383 as far as buying it new from gm. however i did it with the warranty and piece of mind at the time.

let me know if you need more info.
