Teal Camaro Convert W/ 3.8 Turbo
I saw this car at World of Wheels a few years back.
It's a full on restomodded show car with a TA Recaro int., TTA dash and motor. Very nicely done.

Does anyone have pics/ more info on this car?

I know that guy, he used to run around with a PVC rollcage that just sat in, not even attached! Ha, what a moron.

Thanks. I remember flipping through his build book and was impressed. Mainly I need a pic of the pontiac interior in the camaro.

fisherbody86 : I never saw the PVC rollcage, but that gives me an idea

No, do not, under any circumstances, put a fake rollcage in your car. If you do, you might as well just stick a Honda badge on the nose of your bumper cover.

Anyway, I was at the World of Wheels last year and that car was there. I have seen it before at the local cruise nights: Rolling Meadows, Lombard, etc. So I walk up to it and it has a cleanly installed cage. I was impressed by the install so I asked some guy that was standing next to it how he managed to do such a nice job on the rollcage. He laughed, told me the car was not his and the owner was walking around somewhere. He told me the cage was fake, then to prove it he grabbed it and PICKED IT UP OUT OF THE CAR! Just like that. I was so devistated and betrayed that I vowed never to respect the owner ever again.

It's a shame that he had to go and ruin my image of him, because the rest of the car is VERY nicely done. The firebird interior looks awsome in that thing, very clean install.

I was kidding about the cage, although unfortunately that type of fakery is often rewarded by judges.
And if you couldn't tell it was PVC standing next to it, then he did a good job, right?
I last time I saw it was at a North SHore Vette owners show held at Benard Chevrolet in Libertyvile, I don't remember a cage though.
